An open-air photo booth gives your guests something to do, and gives you something to keep. Guests step up to the backdrop in a group, the attendant fires the shot, and a 2x6 strip prints on the spot. By the end of the night you have a full gallery online and the strips have gone home with your guests.
A template with your names and date is quoted per event. The props set is tasteful by default, and you can ask for none at all. The attendant stays for the whole window, so neither of you is thinking about it.
Many couples book the rickshaw for the entrance or baraat and the booth for the reception. Added to a rickshaw package, the booth is $550 for up to 4 booth hours on the same event day, rides along in the same trip, and shares the attendant already on site. The booth and the rickshaw run separate clocks, so a 2-hour entrance can have a 4-hour booth, and hours past 4 are $100 each. Dedicated attendant for large events, $150 for 4 hours, then $35 for each extra hour. The rickshaw does the grand moment, the booth does the souvenirs.

We rent an open-air photo booth and a decorated electric rickshaw, and some events book both. This is the honest comparison, including the enclosed booth we do not offer, so you can pick on the facts.
| Open-air booth (ours) | Enclosed booth | The Photo Moment on the rickshaw | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What guests see | A backdrop and a camera on a stand, in full view of the room | A curtained box; the room sees the queue, not the photo | A decorated electric rickshaw (tuk tuk) parked in the room as the set piece |
| Group size | A group standing in front of the backdrop | 2 to 4, shoulder to shoulder | Up to 5 seated, more standing beside it |
| Prints | Unlimited 2x6 strips on site | Usually, from a slot in the wall | None; guests shoot on their own phones |
| Footprint | A corner and 1 standard outlet within 25 feet | About 6 by 8 feet plus the queue | A firm, level 7 by 12 foot spot and a trailer unload route |
| Indoors | Yes, anywhere with power; outdoors only tented or in the evening | Yes, where it fits through the door | Often yes: electric, silent, no exhaust; the venue decides |
| Our pricing | $650 for 3 hours, $750 for 4 | We do not rent one | Separate rickshaw packages; the booth adds on for $550 |
The rickshaw photo moment has its own page: photo booth alternative, Dallas-Fort Worth.
The booth travels in a car, so the whole metroplex is in range. Booth-only delivery is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas, then $2 a mile after that. Added to a rickshaw booking, the booth rides along for no extra delivery charge. Cities we serve:
The Rickshaw Affair's wedding photo booth is $750 for 4 hours or $650 for 3 hours, with unlimited 2x6 prints, props, an online gallery and an attendant included. Extra hours are $100. If the rickshaw is already doing your entrance, the booth adds on for $550 for up to 4 booth hours, with no second delivery charge.
Four hours covers most receptions: open the booth as cocktail hour ends, run it through dinner and the first hour of dancing, and close before the exit. Three hours works for a shorter reception or a sangeet. The window is yours in full, because setup and teardown happen outside it.
Yes, when the booth is added to a rickshaw booking. Your driver covers the booth by default. For a wedding of 100 guests or more, a dedicated attendant is $150 for up to 4 hours, then $35 for each extra hour, so the driver stays with the rickshaw. A booth-only rental already includes 1 attendant.
The booth and the rickshaw run separate clocks. The Booth Add-On covers up to 4 hours of booth on the same event day, so a 2-hour Entrance can have a 4-hour booth, and an 8-hour Full Event still gets 4 booth hours. Extra booth hours are $100 each, and booth-only bookings are 3 or 4 hours.
Ask when you hold the date. A template with your names, the date and your colors is quoted per event, and we confirm what is included in writing before anything is charged.
It does, and multi-day South Asian weddings are a large part of what we do. The booth suits the long seated evenings of a sangeet or mehndi, where guests want something between performances. For the baraat itself, the decorated rickshaw (tuk tuk) is the piece, and the booth adds on for the reception.
Not yet. The booth is launching soon, the prices are set, and we are holding wedding dates now. Submit your date and package below, we confirm the hold by email, and nothing is charged. When the booth arrives you have first choice to confirm, with a card only at that step.
A corner for the booth, backdrop and a short line, within 25 feet of 1 standard 120V outlet, ideally off the dance floor and on the way to the bar so traffic finds it. Indoors, under a tent or in the evening all work; we do not run it in open rain or direct sun. We confirm the spot with your planner or venue coordinator before the day.
Yes. We serve wedding venues across the metroplex, including Fort Worth, Frisco, Plano, Irving, McKinney, Allen and the surrounding suburbs. Booth-only delivery is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas and $2 a mile after that. Added to a rickshaw booking, the booth travels with it at no extra charge.
