How much does a photo booth cost in Dallas?

Checked 10 / 25 / 2026. Published prices, with sources.

$650 for 3 hours, $750 for 4

A photo booth in Dallas costs about $600 for 3 hours and about $750 for 4 hours at the median of published prices (checked 10 / 25 / 2026), and The Rickshaw Affair charges $650 for 3 hours and $750 for 4 with unlimited prints and an attendant included. Only 4 Dallas-Fort Worth vendors publish both a 3 hour and a 4 hour price for the same booth, so treat the 4 hour median as a guide, not a quote.

Photo booth dates open December 1. Our booth is booked through November 30, so the first available date is December 1, 2026 (12 / 01 / 2026).

What drives the price of a photo booth

Six things move the number on a quote. Published 3 hour prices in Dallas-Fort Worth run from $450 to $895, and these are the reasons a quote lands where it does.

  1. Hours. A 3 hour window is the base. A 4 hour window costs more, and each extra hour is $100 with us and about $100 to $125 at the vendors who publish one. Setup and teardown should sit outside your window, so ask whether the hours you are quoted are guest hours.
  2. Booth type. An open-air booth is a camera and a backdrop in view of the room, and a group fits in front of it. An enclosed booth is a curtained box that holds 2 to 4 people. A 360 booth is a rotating platform and is generally priced higher in published Dallas-Fort Worth listings. Ours is open-air. We do not rent an enclosed or 360 booth.
  3. Attendant. Someone has to keep the prints flowing and the props tidy. Ours stays for the whole window and is in the price. Some vendors charge for an attendant or a second one, so check.
  4. Prints or digital only. Unlimited 2x6 prints cost paper and ink and are what guests take home. Ours are unlimited and included. A digital-only package is usually cheaper, and some vendors cap prints.
  5. Travel. Ours is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas, then $1.50 a mile. The pricing sources below show other rules, including free delivery inside a set radius and a per-mile charge past it.
  6. Late hours. Events ending 10 PM or later add 15% to the booth rate. Ask every vendor whether a late finish adds a fee.

How far ahead to book the photo booth

Book as soon as your date and venue are fixed. Photo booth dates open December 1, 2026 (12 / 01 / 2026), and the booth is booked through November 30. The booking flow sets no minimum notice. Booking fewer than 3 days before the event adds a 50% short-notice fee (100and inside 14 days the full total is due when you book.

How many hours of photo booth do you need

Pick the window your guests will actually be in the room. Three hours ($650) fits a cocktail hour and dinner or a shorter party. Four hours ($750) fits most of a reception. An extra hour is $100, so 4 hours costs the same as 3 plus 1 extra hour. Setup and teardown happen outside your window.

  • 3 hours, $650: a cocktail hour plus dinner, a birthday, a school or community event, or a short company party.
  • 4 hours, $750: most of a wedding reception, a sangeet or a long evening party. It is $100 more than 3 hours.
  • Extra hours, $100 each: $650 for 3 hours plus 1 extra hour is the same $750 as the 4 hour package, so if you think you will want the fourth hour, book 4.
  • Your window is the time guests can use the booth. Setup and teardown happen outside it, so you do not spend booth hours on them.
  • A late finish can add an after-hours charge, which the booking page shows in your total before you pay.

Every figure below was read from the vendor's own published page on 10 / 25 / 2026, and the link goes to that page. The 4 hour median of the 5 published 4 hour prices is $750. These are starting prices, not quotes, and prices change, so check the source before you decide.

How to compare photo booth quotes: 8 questions

Ask each vendor these 8 things and write the answers next to each other. A lower headline price is only lower if the answers match.

  1. How many hours is the window, and does setup happen outside it?
  2. Is it an open-air, enclosed or 360 booth?
  3. Are prints unlimited or capped, and what size?
  4. Is an attendant included for the whole window?
  5. What is the delivery or travel fee to my venue address?
  6. Is there a surcharge for late hours, weekends or holidays?
  7. What do props, backdrop and the online gallery cost, if anything?
  8. What is the deposit, and what does the cancellation or rescheduling policy say?

Our answers: a $650 3 hour window or $750 4 hour window, open-air, unlimited 2x6 prints, 1 attendant for the whole window, delivery $50 within 30 miles then $1.50 a mile, the late-hours rule described above, props, backdrop and gallery included. The agreement is shown before you pay.

Photo booth cost questions, answered

How much does a photo booth rental cost in Dallas?

The Rickshaw Affair charges $650 for 3 hours and $750 for 4, with unlimited prints, an attendant, props and an online gallery included.

How much does a wedding photo booth cost in Dallas?

A wedding uses the same published prices as any other event: about $600 for 3 hours and $750 for 4 at the market median. Most wedding receptions book 3 or 4 hours. Ours are $650 and $750, plus delivery of $50 within 30 miles of Dallas. Events ending 10 PM or later add 15% to the booth rate. The wedding page has the details.

Should I book a photo booth for 3 hours or 4, and what does an extra hour cost?

Book the window your guests will be in the room for. Three hours covers a cocktail hour and dinner, 4 hours covers most of a reception. The $750 4 hour package is $100 more than the $650 3 hour one, which is cheaper than adding an hour later at $100. Published extra-hour rates in Dallas-Fort Worth run from about $100 to $125.

What is included in a photo booth rental, and are prints worth it?

Ours includes the open-air booth with a backdrop, unlimited 2x6 prints for the whole window, props, an online gallery shared by text or QR code, and 1 attendant who stays the entire time. Prints are the part guests carry home and put on the fridge, so they are worth it for weddings and family events. A digital-only booth costs less to run, so ask for the difference in writing.

Is there a delivery or travel fee for a photo booth in Dallas?

Ours is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas, then $1.50 a mile after that. The booth travels in a car, so there is no trailer or truck fee. Other vendors publish their own rules, from free delivery inside a set radius to a per-mile charge, so ask each one what is added to the quote.

Other Dallas-Fort Worth vendors publish guidance from about 2 months to 6 months ahead for weddings and peak Saturdays (checked 10 / 25 / 2026).

How much does a corporate photo booth cost in Dallas?

Our corporate booth starts at $1,200 for 4 hours with 1 attendant and unlimited prints. A branded print template, your logo on the online gallery and guest data capture are each quoted to the event. The total is confirmed before anything is charged. The corporate page lists what a company event usually needs.

How do I compare photo booth quotes fairly?

Put every quote on the same footing: the same number of hours, the same booth type, and the same list of what is included. Then add the fees that are often extra: attendant, travel, prints, setup time, late-night hours and a deposit. The checklist on this page lists 8 questions to ask each vendor, and a lower headline price is only lower if the answers match.
