The 4 things a coordinator actually needs to know

1. It never touches a public road

The rickshaw is not street legal in Texas. It is delivered on a trailer, unloaded on the property, and operated only on ground the venue controls. There is no street procession, no permit conversation and no vehicle leaving your gate under its own power. For most venues this is the question that decides the answer, so it is the first thing on this page rather than the last.

2. It is electric, which is why indoor is even possible

It is a 2024 Euro Captain electric tuktuk. No combustion, no exhaust, almost no noise. Venues that have a blanket no-vehicles-inside policy usually wrote that policy about gas engines, fumes and floor damage, and a fair number of DFW venues will look at this one separately once they see it. You still decide, and we will never push a client to argue with a venue on our behalf.

3. Surface matters more than distance

Firm and level is the requirement, indoors or out. Soft ground and deep loose gravel are the 2 conditions that cause problems. Distance from the trailer to the moment is almost never the constraint, because the vehicle only needs to travel at walking pace across your property.

4. There is always an operator with it

The vehicle is never left running or unattended on your property. An operator stays with it for the whole window. Riders sign waivers before they get in, no more than 5 people ride at once, and nobody rides standing. Those rules do not change per event or per client.

What the day looks like from your side

• We arrive 45 minutes before the client window starts and unload from the trailer.
• We walk the route and the placement with your coordinator before guests arrive.
• We dress the vehicle if the client ordered decor from us, or coordinate with their decorator.
• The moment runs on the client cue. The vehicle then stays parked as a photo piece for the rest of the window.
• We load out at the end of the window and take the trailer with us.

Where it gets used on a property

• The motor court or porte-cochere, for arrivals under cover.
• A private drive or lawn, for a baraat or a ceremony arrival.
• The ballroom or lobby, where the venue permits it, for a reception entrance.
• A corner of the reception space, parked and dressed, as a stationary photo piece.
• The exit path at the end of the night, for a send-off through the sparkler line.

This is a single-vehicle operation and one event at a time, which has an obvious downside and one real upside: your date is either open or it is not, and you will know within a minute rather than after a week of back and forth. Prices are published on this site, the rental agreement is signed online, and payment is by card, so nothing about the booking lands on your team.

We also run a referral program. Referred clients get a discount and the partner earns on every booking they send, tracked on a partner login rather than on a spreadsheet either of us has to maintain. If you would rather simply hand couples a link, that works too.

We are new, we say so, and we would rather be told your rules up front than discover them on the day. If your property has a vendor packet, a certificate of insurance requirement or a load-in window we have to hit, send it before the date and we will work through it with your team.
