An open-air photo booth: a camera, a backdrop, a printer and an attendant, set up for the window you book. Guests step in front of the backdrop, pose, and walk away with a 2x6 strip in hand and the same shot on their phone a minute later. Open-air means no walls, so a group fits and the room watches the fun.
The attendant runs it for the entire window, keeps the prints flowing and the props tidy, and troubleshoots anything that comes up. Setup and teardown happen outside your booked hours, so a 4-hour booking is 4 hours of guests using the booth.

We rent an open-air photo booth and a decorated electric rickshaw, and some events book both. This is the honest comparison, including the enclosed booth we do not offer, so you can pick on the facts.
| Open-air booth (ours) | Enclosed booth | The Photo Moment on the rickshaw | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What guests see | A backdrop and a camera on a stand, in full view of the room | A curtained box; the room sees the queue, not the photo | A decorated electric rickshaw (tuk tuk) parked in the room as the set piece |
| Group size | A group standing in front of the backdrop | 2 to 4, shoulder to shoulder | Up to 5 seated, more standing beside it |
| Prints | Unlimited 2x6 strips on site | Usually, from a slot in the wall | None; guests shoot on their own phones |
| Footprint | A corner and 1 standard outlet within 25 feet | About 6 by 8 feet plus the queue | A firm, level 7 by 12 foot spot and a trailer unload route |
| Indoors | Yes, anywhere with power; outdoors only tented or in the evening | Yes, where it fits through the door | Often yes: electric, silent, no exhaust; the venue decides |
| Our pricing | $650 for 3 hours, $750 for 4 | We do not rent one | Separate rickshaw packages; the booth adds on for $550 |
The rickshaw photo moment has its own page: photo booth alternative, Dallas-Fort Worth.

The booth travels in a car, so the whole metroplex is in range. Booth-only delivery is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas, then $2 a mile after that. Added to a rickshaw booking, the booth rides along for no extra delivery charge. Cities we serve:
The Rickshaw Affair rents an open-air photo booth in Dallas for $650 for 3 hours or $750 for 4 hours, with unlimited 2x6 prints, an attendant, props and an online gallery included. Extra hours are $100. Delivery is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas. Corporate booths with branded prints start at $1,200.
Every booth rental includes the open-air booth with a backdrop, unlimited 2x6 prints for the whole window, a prop set, an online gallery shared by text or QR code, and 1 attendant who stays for the entire event. Setup and teardown happen outside your booked hours, so you get the full window.
Open-air. The booth is a camera and a backdrop in full view of the room, which fits a group in front of it and lets guests watch each other. We do not rent enclosed booths. If you want the room itself as the backdrop, our decorated electric rickshaw is a second option.
Yes. The Booth Add-On is $550 on top of any rickshaw package and covers up to 4 booth hours on the same event day, on its own clock. It rides along with the rickshaw, so there is no second delivery charge, and the attendant already on site runs both. Hours past 4 are $100 each.
Yes, on a booth added to a rickshaw booking. By default your rickshaw driver also looks after the booth. For a large event of 100 guests or more, a dedicated attendant is $150 for up to 4 hours, then $35 for each extra hour. Booth-only rentals already include 1 attendant.
The booth and the rickshaw run separate clocks. The Booth Add-On covers up to 4 hours of booth on the same event day, so a 2-hour Entrance can have a 4-hour booth, and an 8-hour Full Event still gets 4 booth hours. Extra booth hours are $100 each, and booth-only bookings are 3 or 4 hours.
Plan on a corner for the booth, backdrop and a short line, plus 1 standard 120V outlet within 25 feet of the spot. It works indoors, under a tent or in the evening. We do not run it in open rain, direct sun or direct wind, so an outdoor placement needs a tent or a covered patio with a flat floor. We confirm the spot with you before the day.
Not yet. The booth is launching soon, the prices are set, and we are holding dates now. You submit the date and package on this page, we confirm the hold by email, and nothing is charged. When the booth arrives you get first choice to confirm, with a card only at that point.
The whole metroplex: Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Plano, Irving, McKinney, Allen, Arlington and the surrounding suburbs. Booth-only delivery is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas and $2 a mile after that. The booth travels in a car, so there is no trailer and no vehicle route to plan at the venue.
Yes. Every session prints on site and lands in an online gallery you can share by text or QR code during the event, so guests post from their phones the same night. The full gallery is yours after the event.
