What every package includes
The price you are quoted is the price of the event, not the price of the vehicle. Every package below covers the same 5 things, and none of them appear as a separate line on your invoice afterwards.
- Delivery. The rickshaw is trailered to your venue and unloaded on site. It is not street legal in Texas, so it never arrives under its own power and never leaves your venue property during the booking.
- Setup and a route walk. We arrive 45 minutes before your booked window, unload, and walk the entrance route and the parking spot with your venue coordinator before guests are anywhere near it.
- An operator for the whole window. Somebody from us drives the vehicle and stays with it. You are not handed the keys and you are not responsible for it.
- The venue window itself. Each package includes a number of hours on site, and the clock runs on the window you book, not on how long the entrance takes.
- Pickup and load-out at the end. We load onto the trailer and clear the space.
Payment works the same way on every package. A 50% deposit is paid online when you sign the rental agreement, and it is what holds the date. The remaining balance is charged automatically to the same card 14 days before the event, and we email you before it happens. If you book within 14 days of the event there is no balance to schedule and the full amount is due at signing.
Decoration is an add-on, and here is what it costs
Decoration is priced separately because plenty of clients already have a decorator and should not pay us twice for the same flowers. Classic marigold garlands with matching signage carrying your names or the event details is $150. A full floral arrangement in your event colors with custom signage, coordinated to your theme, is $300. Anything more elaborate is quoted. If your own decorator is dressing the vehicle there is no decoration charge from us at all: share their contact at booking and we coordinate with them directly.
When a travel fee applies
The first 30 miles are included in every package. Beyond that, travel is calculated at $3.50 per mile and is folded into the total the site quotes you before you pay. There is no separate travel invoice after the event and no surprise mileage charge. For most of Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Richardson, Carrollton, McKinney, Allen and Arlington this either does not apply or adds a modest amount you see on screen before you commit.
The other things that can change a quote
- A longer venue window. Each package includes a set number of hours. Extra hours inside the window you book are priced per hour on the package you chose, and the calculator shows that in the total before you pay.
- Overtime on the night. Time past the window you booked is charged per 30-minute increment at 1.5 times the hourly rate, to the card on file, and we tell you before the clock runs over.
- A late departure or a short-notice booking. Both can carry an adjustment. The calculator applies it and shows it inside the total, so you never find out about it later.
- Corporate and custom work. That package is quoted rather than charged off a list, because branding, run of show and load-in are different every time.

How much does a rickshaw rental cost in Dallas?
Between $750 and $3,000 depending on how long you need the vehicle on site. $750 covers a single grand entrance in a 2-hour venue window and $3,000 covers a full 8-hour event. Corporate and custom work starts at $5,000 and is quoted. Delivery, setup, an operator and pickup are included in every package.
Is the price on the website the real price?
Yes. Enter the package, the venue address, the date and the venue window and the site returns the total, travel included, before you speak to anyone. The only package that is not instantly priced is corporate and custom, which is quoted because the branding and the run of show differ every time.
