Photo booth dates open December 1.

Delivery to Fort Worth: about $52

Fort Worth sits right on the edge of our flat delivery zone. It is about 31 road miles from our Irving base, so booth-only delivery comes to about $52: the $50 flat fee, plus a dollar or two if your venue is past the 30 mile line. A downtown address can land at $50 and a ranch venue on the west side can run a little higher, and the booking page prices the exact route before you pay.

The booth makes the drive in a passenger car, so a Fort Worth booking does not need a trailer, a truck reservation or a loading plan beyond the venue's own. For downtown hotels, that means we can use the same dock or service entrance as the caterer and be set up before the first guest arrives.

Booth-only delivery is $50 within 30 miles of Dallas, then $1.50 a mile after that.

Venues in Fort Worth we plan around

These venues are named because they are real event places in Fort Worth, not because we have an agreement with any of them. Check each venue's own vendor rules, and send us the coordinator's name so we can ask the load-in questions.

  • Hotel Drover. A Stockyards hotel with nearly 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including The Backyard lawn. The lawn needs a tent or a covered area, while an indoor room needs only an outlet.
  • Omni Fort Worth Hotel. A downtown hotel with ballrooms that hold up to 2,000 guests and an outdoor garden overlooking the skyline. A ballroom placement is the usual booth setup, and the garden is a cocktail-hour option under cover.
  • Bowie House, an Auberge Resort. A Cultural District hotel with 7 indoor and outdoor event spaces of up to 400 guests. With that many spaces, the first question is which room, and we ask for the floor plan.
  • Fort Worth Botanic Garden. A garden venue with a private events team for weddings and galas. A garden is the clearest case of the weather rule: the booth goes in a covered pavilion or indoors, not on open lawn.
  • Kimpton Harper Hotel and Ridglea Country Club. A downtown hotel with more than 10,000 square feet of wedding space, and a historic private club on manicured grounds. Both host seated dinners and receptions where a corner booth keeps guests moving.

What Fort Worth events look like

Fort Worth events lean western and outdoor. The Stockyards, the Cultural District and the ranch venues west of the city host weddings, rehearsal dinners and corporate retreats where the setting is part of the party, and a booth with a gold sparkle backdrop is a deliberate contrast to the boots and the brick. The booth is open-air and neutral, so it does not compete with the architecture.

Downtown Fort Worth is a corporate and convention area. Hotel ballrooms near Sundance Square host company dinners, association meetings and holiday parties, and the corporate booth from $1,200 adds a branded print template and a gallery with your logo. Most downtown hotels have a vendor entrance and a freight elevator, and we ask for both ahead of time.

Quinceañeras and Hispanic celebrations are a large part of the mix, as they are across Tarrant County. A quince with a court, a dinner and a long dance floor fits the 4 hour window, and families often book the booth for the whole reception. The booth sits in a corner, out of the way of the dance floor and the cake table.

Fort Worth outdoor rules and setup notes

Outdoor events are the rule here, so the rule bears repeating: we do not run the booth in open rain, direct sun or direct wind. A Fort Worth lawn, courtyard or ranch apron needs a tent, a covered patio or an indoor fallback with a flat floor and an outlet within 25 feet. Texas wind can arrive with no warning in spring, which is why we ask for the indoor plan before the date and not at the door.

Summer heat matters for the equipment as well as the guests. The printer and the camera run best in the shade, so an afternoon placement in July or August should be under cover, and an evening window is easier than a 2:00 PM one. We set up and tear down outside the hours you booked, so you get the full window with the booth already running.

How far ahead to book the photo booth

Book as soon as your date and venue are fixed. Photo booth dates open December 1, 2026 (12 / 01 / 2026), and the booth is booked through November 30. The booking flow sets no minimum notice. Booking fewer than 3 days before the event adds a 50% short-notice fee (100and inside 14 days the full total is due when you book.

How many hours of photo booth do you need

Pick the window your guests will actually be in the room. Three hours ($650) fits a cocktail hour and dinner or a shorter party. Four hours ($750) fits most of a reception. An extra hour is $100, so 4 hours costs the same as 3 plus 1 extra hour. Setup and teardown happen outside your window.

  • 3 hours, $650: a cocktail hour plus dinner, a birthday, a school or community event, or a short company party.
  • 4 hours, $750: most of a wedding reception, a sangeet or a long evening party. It is $100 more than 3 hours.
  • Extra hours, $100 each: $650 for 3 hours plus 1 extra hour is the same $750 as the 4 hour package, so if you think you will want the fourth hour, book 4.
  • Your window is the time guests can use the booth. Setup and teardown happen outside it, so you do not spend booth hours on them.
  • A late finish can add an after-hours charge, which the booking page shows in your total before you pay.

Photo booth questions in Fort Worth, answered

Is Fort Worth inside the 30 mile delivery zone?

Fort Worth is right at the edge. It is about 31 road miles from our Irving base, so booth-only delivery is about $52: the $50 flat fee, plus $1.50 for each mile past 30, which is a small amount at most downtown venues. The booking page prices the exact route from your address, and a west-side ranch can come in a little higher.

What happens to a Fort Worth outdoor event if it rains or the wind picks up?

We do not run the booth in open rain, direct sun or direct wind, so an outdoor placement needs a tent, a covered patio or an indoor fallback. We confirm the covered spot with you before the date, and on the day the attendant moves the booth to it if the weather turns, since the whole window is still yours.

How much does a photo booth rental in Fort Worth cost?

The Rickshaw Affair rents an open-air photo booth in Fort Worth for $650 for 3 hours or $750 for 4 hours, with unlimited 2x6 prints, an attendant, props and an online gallery included. Extra hours are $100. Delivery to Fort Worth is about $52. Corporate booths with branded prints start at $1,200.

What is included in the photo booth rental?

Every booth rental includes the open-air booth with a backdrop, unlimited 2x6 prints for the whole window, a prop set, an online gallery shared by text or QR code, and 1 attendant who stays for the entire event. Setup and teardown happen outside your booked hours, so you get the full window.

When does the booth arrive at my Fort Worth venue?

Before your window opens. Setup happens outside your booked hours, so a 4 hour booking is 4 hours of guests using the booth. We set the arrival time with you when we confirm the date, ask the venue for its load-in rules, and the contract treats arrival within 30 minutes of the agreed time as on schedule.
